October BDA Breakfast - Destination Bellevue
Our fast-growing “destination” economy is linked to how well Bellevue creates and markets an experience that resonates with leisure and business travelers alike. Visit Bellevue Washington, our destination marketing organization (DMO), tackles this vital work for our city.

Join us for the journey at the BDA’s October Breakfast. We’ll welcome Brad Jones, the new Executive Director of Visit Bellevue Washington, as he sets the stage for where our local DMO is going next, and how the effort will strengthen partnerships and participation throughout the community.

Moving Foward - A Message from the BDA President
Before we get too far into Q4, I want to acknowledge what is already a remarkable year for the Downtown and the BDA. Your support has helped us achieve a new high-water mark for overall membership and member event attendance. That's excellent news, and you're at the heart of our work moving foward.

Your generous investments of time and resources continue to produce results. Only because of you are we able to convene leadership and affect policy, promote the community, produce big-time festive events, and roll-out programs for Downtown's benefit. It's our members, the people behind the place, who are driving the record strength we're seeing in jobs, residents, retail and our experience economy.

Our goal is always to drive direct, tangible value for every member. That's a big expectation, but the BDA's strategic and tenacious focus on the value and progress of the "place" of Downtown should keep this goal in reach. One direct path to maximize your membership is to make sure your online profile accurately represents your message on The website receives 30,000+ views each month. Those are potential customers, visitors, and employees seeking information about your Downtown. Contact our team if you'd like changes.

It’s a phenomenal time for Downtown Bellevue. Thank you again for your leadership and partnership in the Downtown community. We're ready for a strong finish to 2018 and much more to come in the New Year!
